Heartwarming Video Sees Canadian Couple Adopting A Street Dog From India

As dog lovers know, our love for our canine friends has no bounds and that feeling is clear in a story of a couple adopting a dog from India.

An Instagram video has recently gone viral after a couple in Canada adopted a street dog all the way from India. Posted on Instagram, the video features the couple driving to the airport to collect their new friend. With papers in hand, they are excited and obviously moved about meeting their new best pal.

An “elopement photographer” named Havie recently made a truly heartwarming post on her Instagram. While the background to the story is unknown, the video shows Havie and her husband driving to the local International Airport to make an important collection. In fact, they are in the process of adopting a street dog, all the way from India.

In the caption to the video, Havie explains that they are excited and just waiting for their dog. Meanwhile, in the car, her husband says, “We’re on our way to the International Airport arrivals.” He added that they have their documents in hand and are going to get the stamp. Havie is so excited, she almost feels like throwing up.

The pooch is wheeled out of the airport in a crate marked “live animal” after which the couple loads it into their car to head home. Once home, they open the cage and at first, the dog is a little shy. However, Havie explained that it didn’t take long for them to bond.

Now named, appropriately, Indy, she slowly comes out of the crate, sniffing their hands, while Havie says, “Hello beautiful.” It doesn’t take long before Indy is literally eating out of Havie and her husband’s hands and is clearly settling in quickly.
