A video is going viral of an Australian Cavoodle reuniting with his family after their car was stolen with him inside. The heartwarming moment came 24 hours after he was dognapped in a scary car theft in Melbourne. Read on to find out what happened to the cute dog.
Moe the Cavoodle reunites with his relieved family
A heartwarming video has been shared on Twitter revealing the moment a two-year-old Cavoodle was reunited with his humans after being snatched when thieves stole the family’s black Mercedes.
At the time of the crime, Moe was inside the family car as his human popped into a store. Moments later. at 7:30 am, two men climbed into the Mercedes and fled the scene with the pup inside it.
Moe and his family get justice
As noted by the Sunrise on 7 TV show in Australia, the thieves were driving a BMC, believed to be linked to the theft of the Mercedes. Meanwhile, they were later involved in a collision at 11:45 am on Dorothea Mackellar Avenue in Oakleigh East in Melbourne, around 15 km (9 mi) from the site of the theft.
According to police, the two men fled the scene on foot but were later arrested on Macrina Street close by. A 20-year-old man from The Basin and a 25-year-old man from Ashwood have been charged with two counts of theft of a motor vehicle and other offenses. Both are set to appear in court on Friday.
Meanwhile, there were emotional scenes at Box Hill Police Station when Moe was finally reunited with his family, 24 hours after his ordeal started. Moe’s humans were seen tearfully scooping him up into their arms. Moreover, on Moe’s part, the relieved Cavoodle seemed eager to return home.
In the clip, the cute pup can be seen wagging his tail and pulling at his lead. Readers can watch the heartwarming moment in the Twitter video below. In the video, one of the presenters, a Cavoodle owner himself, spoke up. He told his fellow presenters that the dog would have loved the outing. In fact, he would surely have enjoyed the chance to spend time with someone else.

Meanwhile, the 2017 C250 Mercedes station wagon is still unaccounted for. However, the family was no doubt thrilled to have Moe back in their home.
