Not sure where to start? Well, then you’ve come to the right place. Here are just five ways that you can keep your dog active while having a whole load of fun. Try some of these for yourself and the two of you will have a real ball. Enjoy.
Treats Treasure Hunt
Here’s a game that takes least effort on your part. Score. All you need to do is get some doggy treats and hide them in various locations around your home. (Make sure that your dog isn’t watching you while you do this!) Then, let your dog try to find all the treats in your home. The better you are at hiding them, the more difficult it will be.
Hide and Seek
You may not realize it, but your dog can play hide and seek just as you can. First of all, you need to teach your pup the ‘sit’ command. Once you’ve done so, tell them to sit and go hide somewhere in the home. Then call them. Before you know it, your dog will start looking for. When they find you, give them a treat.
Tug of War
Dogs love chewing things so this game really is perfect. You will need a piece of old rope or just a piece of material. Get your dog interested in the toy by flinging it around a little. It shouldn’t take too long to pique their interest. Before you know it, they will be tugging away at the thing and trying to get a hold of it. Brilliant.

Frisbee Toss
Fetch can get kind of dull now and then so why not play with a frisbee instead? These things go way, way further than your average ball. That means that before you know it, your dog will be worn out from all that running. This is excellent as it gives your pup some great exercise in a short amount of time.

Doggy Water Fight
Believe it or not, dogs don’t hate water as much as you might imagine. During the sunny months, you may want to help them cool down a tad with this fun game. Get the water gun out and start playing. Your dog will love running away from the jet plus you get to have some fun in the sun.
