Many of us are truly dog lovers and like nothing more than having our furry friends surrounding us. However, one Japanese man has taken things a step further by trying to actually “become” a canine. To do so, he ordered an expensive costume from a local company that cost him a fortune, but he believes it has done the trick. Read on to find out more about this strange dog-related story.

Recently, Twitter user @toco_eevee posted images of himself that left the Internet shocked and confused. According to the local Japanese news outlet news.mynavi, The man had ordered an elaborate costume from the company Zeppet. Meanwhile, the company produces a large number of realistic sculptures for commercials, movies and entertainment facilities. Moreover, Zeppet has often designed costumes used on TV and costumes of famous Japanese mascot characters.

On Zeppet’s website, the company wrote in Japanese that they had created a modeling suit at the request of an individual. In fact, they wrote that the model of a collie dog reproduces the appearance of a real canine walking on four legs. For their 40 days of work, the company earned an impressive 2 million yen (almost $16,000).

Zeppet’s website quotes the customer as saying he had a vague dream of becoming an animal from an early age. He finally decided to make his dream come true by ordering a realistic dog costume from a company that specializes in such things.
Moreover, the man is quoted as saying it must have been a very difficult model to create, as the skeletons of humans and dogs are so different. Meanwhile, this is especially so as dogs walk on four legs. For this reason, the customer was worried that the costume wouldn’t turn out right.

However, thanks to a number of trials and errors, he is totally satisfied with the “excellent degree of perfection” of the model. Moreover, he thanked the company for making his dreams come true.
Speaking to news.mynavi, the Japanese man said he chose a collie because it is his favorite breed of dog. Moreover, he noted that a long-haired dog could easily “mislead” a human figure.
