Heartwarming Moment Madrid Firefighters Rescue A Cute Puppy [VIDEO]

As dog lovers know, our pets can often get themselves into awkward situations, including this four-month-old puppy. In his case, the cute pup had gotten himself stuck under a glass fence around a swimming pool in a private home. Meanwhile, firefighters in Madrid, Spain, rescued the puppy on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, and were so moved by his plight, that they shared images and a video of the rescue on Twitter.

Madrid firefighters save a four-month-old puppy

The incident happened on Tuesday, May 24, when Madrid firefighters were called out to rescue a puppy in distress. The four-month-old pup had gotten itself stuck under a glass fence in a pool enclosure in the suburbs.

The Emergency Services of Madrid posted a series of images of the rescue in Pozuelo de Alarcon, Madrid. Their Spanish language caption translates to, “His name is Maui, but he’s not the demigod of wind and sea from the film Moana. He’s a little four-month-old puppy who’s been a bit naughty and got caught in the enclosure of a swimming pool.”

Meanwhile, the Emergency Services of Madrid also posted a video of the puppy’s rescue. Here, they captioned the clip in Spanish, writing, “Fortunately, the #CMFirefighters were there and were able to free him without any harm to the animal. It happened this morning in a detached house in #PozuelodeAlarcón.”

In this clip, we can see the cute pup whimpering, with his head stuck under a glass enclosure. One of the firefighters tries to calm him, gently stroking his head while his colleague removes the glass, allowing the little dog to get free.

As can be seen from the video, the adorable puppy was unharmed by his little misadventure. In fact, the video closes with the three rescuers posing alongside the pup, gazing at him lovingly.

Who can resist the cute little face of the little pup below? While no dog breed was mentioned, the little guy does look a lot like a Goldendoodle.

 

However, the video posted by the Madrid Emergency Services does serve as an important reminder. Dog owners should always keep an eye on their pets to avoid them getting into trouble as this cute puppy did.

The family no doubt installed the glass fencing around the pool to protect their children from falling in the water. However, it turns out it is not at all suitable to protect the canine member of the family.
