Mixed Breed Rescue Story Still Trends Months After First Posting

A story that was first posted about a mixed breed pup emerged in August this year. So technically, it’s old news. However, it’s such a sweet story about a rescue dog that it still trends. Picked up by influencers, it re-emerged this week on Instagram. Actually, it’s a nice story for dismal times of war and politics in the world. Who doesn’t love hearing about a sad story that turned out well for humanity’s best friend?
A Lucky Mixed Breed Pup Picked The Right Person
Some rescue stories are truly moving and they gladden the hearts of those who see videos or read stories about them. One outstanding story involved a family in Virginia that lost their pet. Hunting desperately, eventually, they gave up. So, off they went to another shelter to find a new rescue dog, only to find their own missing pet! Dog lovers can only imagine the joy of that particular reunion.
Like the mixed breed pup story in August this year, another doggie picked the right person for a chance at happiness. A Brazillian rescue dog now named Corporal Oliveira caught the attention of a police officer. Bedraggled and abandoned, these days, she works with her boss, Cristiano Oliveira as the official mascot of the 17th battalion of the Rio de Janeiro Military Police. Well, the latest story is about a pooch who took up a new life on a ranch. And all because he approached the right person for help.
Little Mixed Breed Pup Emerged From The Woods
It’s not clear what breed of dog Ghost is. However, there might be some Staffordshire Bull Terrier blood in him. When the owners of De Lima Ranch went off homesteading with little to no capital, things worked out well for them. In the profile, it says, “Started with 3 bulldogs now we’re here🐶🐷🐓.” Well, they also have Ghost now. When the story was shared about Ghost, the caption said, “Welcome to the family lovely boy, we hope you like bulldogs! 💕💕.”
The Mixed breed pup was “covered in large fleas, ticks, and burs, you could see his ribs.” So, the first thought was to get it to the vet for a check-up. Unfortunately, it took some time because the doggie was terrified of the truck. Eventually, the pup was enticed inside and into a better life. Mind you, he still doesn’t really seem too comfortable in a truck as you can see above at the bottom right.
The Story Still Trends
When the story about the mixed breed rescue dog was reposted by The Good New Movement, many more people went across to the De Lima Ranch account to comment. One of them said, “Saw this on good news movement. My brother may god bless you, your pets and loved ones tenfold!! We need more people like you brother!! 💜🤍💜.”
If you wonder how Ghost is doing in his new home, you can see that he’s looking amazing and is clearly loved.
