General Hospital Alum Eva LaRue’s Heartbreaking Goodbye To Her Littlest & Fiercest Friend

General Hospital spoilers remind fans that Eva LaRue exited the role of Natalia Rogers-Ramirez on the ABC soap this past summer when her character passed away. The actress recently shared some heartbreaking news on her social media.

Eva LaRue Is Mourning A Loss

LaRue hopped on Instagram recently and shared a beautiful tribute to her furry friend, Cholula. The actress shared several photos and videos in the post. In a caption, she wrote, “This morning, my sweet girl took her final nap in my arms. My yappy, happy, sassy girl—the littlest one with the biggest personality.”

LaRue went on to say, “She ran this whole house, kept the big dogs in line, and claimed every lap as her own. Spoiled? Absolutely. Deserved? Every bit.”

The actress noted, “This morning, her brave little heart finally gave out while I held her, talking to her excitedly about puppy treats, going for walks, and how very much I loved her.”

LaRue concluded with, “I just pray it eased her to the other side. Thank you for filling my life with so much joy, attitude, and unconditional love. Forever my good girl. Forever my baby. Rest easy, my sweet girl.”

Daytime Drama Stars Support

Some fellow GH colleagues hit the comment section, along with fans. Former General Hospital star, Jacqueline Grace Lopez, who played Allison “Blaze” Rogers, Eva’s onscreen daughter, wrote, “Sending you love, mama!” While Finola Hughes (Anna Devane) commented with, “So sorry, Eva xxx.”

Other daytime drama stars offered support, as former The Young and the Restless star, Jessica Collins (Avery Clark) wrote, “I’m so sorry, Eva. You can see your love for each other in these beautiful pictures. Rest in peace, sweet girl,” and The Bold and the Beautiful’s Rebecca Budig (Dr. Taylor Hayes) commented with, “I’m so sorry, Eva.”

In addition to her recent role as Natalia on General Hospital, LaRue was known for her roles on All My Children as Maria Santos Grey and Celeste Rosales on The Young and the Restless. Her true crime documentary, My Nightmare Stalker: The Eva LaRue Story, recently debuted on Paramount+.
