Eva Mendes’ Rescue Dog Magic Is All Smiles & Photobombs

Eva Mendes, widely known for her acting and business career, is also deeply devoted to rescue dogs. Hugo was her most famous pet, a fiercely loyal Belgian Malinois. However, she also has other dogs these days, including Magic. Read on to see the happy face of the bouncy pup.

Hugo Passed Away

Sadly, Hugo passed away after living a happy life in service to his mistress. Originally, she got him to discourage a stalker. Fans of Eva saw that he understood French, and later, his character was featured in Ryan Gosling’s movie, The Fall Guy.

Notably, Eva Mendes’ love for rescue animals didn’t stop with the passing of Hugo. In 2019, she and Gosling adopted a Doberman puppy, Lucho, who still appears on Instagram. But last year, they brought in Magic, a long-haired mixed breed who seems to love flashing huge, goofy smiles.

Already popular for promoting animal adoption, Eva’s fans never get enough of Magic pics. One post she shared revealed that she even reads to her pups, showing they are truly part of the family.
