In the caption, the show’s admin asked, “Whoever said not to work with kids or animals clearly hasn’t wrangled 10 dogs at 8:30 in the morning. Is there any chance Sonny adopts all of these good boys and girls? Find out today!”
According to Michael Fairman TV, the question would soon be answered. But, the storyline of so many dogs really resonated with GH fans. In the comment section, many folks loved that the popular TV show highlighted the plight of laboratory animals and animal rights.
ABC Fans React
Many fans hoped that crime boss Sonny Corinthos would home the dogs. But others commented on animal welfare. One of them opined, “I love that you guys are bringing dogs onto the show more. Outback has really made a name for herself on the show now.”
Here are a few more reactions from General Hospital fans:
- Outback deserves an Emmy. Best new actor. Adopt dont shop always!
- These cuties stole the show today. Love the storyline/awareness of testing on animals. It needs to stop!
- Absolutely love having dogs as part of the story line. So wonderful that they were finally rescued. Sadly this is not fiction.
- Rescued pups is definitely a story I can get behind.
- This storyline is A+. so proud of GH. Adopt and if you shop
Buy them all and shut them down. Say no to puppy mills EVERYWHERE ~shut them all down! And ask Maurice to take them to his house he has a love for fur babies like no other.
As you can see, combining popular daytime drama with animal awareness got a lot of kudos. Possibly, other TV shows might also use their massive audience to help in a similar way.
