A TikTok member shared the cutest video of a white, fluffy puppy trying his best to impersonate his human. Snowball, who is only a few months old, is seen in the video, attempting to copy his owner by saying, “Hey!” Meanwhile, the video has gone viral, attracting millions of views from pet lovers online.

TikTok user nukkk123 recently shared the cutest ever video of her puppy, Snowball, who is just a few months old. As she says, “Hey!” to her pup, he clearly attempts to impersonate her by saying a soundless, “Hey!” back.

Since it was posted, the TikTok video has attracted millions of views from pet lovers all over the world. Snowball’s owner, Nuky, captioned the video, “Its [sic] like my puppy tries to mock me  #fyp #puppy #puppytalking #dogtalking.” He certainly does a great job impersonating her, but judging from that wagging tail, he isn’t mocking her. He is simply having loads of fun with his human.

After reading some of the comments, Snowball’s owner noted, “He is very vocal for the comments I see asking ❤ he barks and cries!! He is only 5 months.”

Currently, the TikTok video has received more than 4 million views, with 1.4 million likes, 13K comments and 68.3K shares. Meanwhile, probably, like us, people are viewing it over and over again.

Dogs often imitate their humans

For a five-month-old puppy, Snowball seems pretty smart, however, dogs are known for imitating their humans. Back in 2011, researchers from the Department of Cognitive Biology at the University of Vienna put that theory to the test.

In the study, a group of dogs was trained to open a sliding door, using their head and a paw. Researchers then split them into two groups, with half receiving a treat for opening the door, using the same method as their human. Meanwhile, the other half was rewarded for using an alternative method that differed from their human’s method.

What the study came down to was that, despite the offer of a food reward, the latter group was still more inclined to copy their human. Researchers concluded that the reaction was the result of years of selective breeding and training. In other words, scientists believe that dogs are essentially hardwired to follow their human’s lead.

In the case of Snowball, it seems he is simply copying his owner to win favor with his human. On the other hand, we could just say that he was simply being adorable.

Judging from the comments, TikTok users found the video just as cute as we do. Many exclaimed at how cute Snowball is, with one writing “Ouch my heart.” Another hilariously wrote, “Bros mic was muted,” while one fan eerily wrote, “That is for sure someone you love reincarnated trying to scream “HEY ITS ME.”
