Twitter Influencer Catturd Finally Chooses Which Trending Puppies To Keep

Trending Puppies often make for a massive number of followers on social media. Well, this week, probably some of the most discussed pups on Twitter in recent times trended and made Catturd (@catturd2) trend even more. If you don’t know, it’s not clear who runs the account, but fans established that the influencer is a he and possibly owns a ranch.

Trending Puppies Help To Boost Catturd’s Large Following

Catturd doesn’t appeal to everyone as he was retweeted by Donald Trump in the past. However, puppies seem to cross all political barriers. In fact, it’s a well-known fact that pups help to ease anxiety in humans. Actually, it seems that his batch of nine pups actually increased Catturd’s anxiety for a bit as their mom, Sweety felt a bit too unwell to feed them. So, he did it himself and took fans through a series of events like having to clean their little behinds to help them poop. While a few people trolled the account for not getting Sweetie fixed, the fact is that the adorable pups will all go to good homes.

Trending puppies certainly didn’t hurt Catturds’ following. Actually, the influencer is best known for super-sarcastic political posts and commentary. If you don’t know, he and Jewels run a podcast named In The Litter Box. Insider Paper reported that when Donald Trump retweeted Catturd three times in one day, a lot more followers arrived on the account that had 462,000 followers. Two years on, his following increased to 978.6K followers despite Twitter sometimes frowning on his content.

Only Two Puppies Stay On The Catturd Ranch

It’s actually impossible to say how many people loved and commented on all the posts about Sweetie’s babies. But, it certainly seems like a LOT. Of course, a lot of people hoped they could adopt one. Additionally, selecting the ones that would stay on the ranch seemed like a tricky choice. When the decision finally arrived, a local outlet wrote it up and it was shared on Twitter. In the bottom photo below, you can see Wriggles on the left, and Monkey on the right. The lucky pups both get to stay home at the ranch.

Apart from Monkey and Wriggles, the initial names for the trending puppies also included “Batman, Fatty, Socks, Wings, Brownie, Pirate, [and] Mini-Pedro (a.k.a Pedrina).” Actually, there are so many, it’s hard to figure out which is which. So, perhaps @Catturd2 will forgive us if we got it wrong.

Hard To Choose – But Many Takers Lined Up

Catturd said that it was really “hard” to make the choices. Unfortunately, they couldn’t all stay on the ranch. After all, he already has a number of dogs.  Actually, one of them, Smiles, found a loving home after being adopted in an extremely emaciated state. If you hope for one of the cute trending puppies, you might have to get in line as thousands of followers also want one of them.
