In most cases, when a family decides to adopt a rescue dog, everyone knows and is involved in the search. Usually, everyone is together when they go to the dog rescue center. However, one family decided to make the addition of their new fur baby a complete surprise. Needless to say, a box of tissues should be handy when you watch the clip!

Paddy the rescue dog finds a new loving home

Recently, two loving parents decided to travel to a dog rescue center to choose a new family pet, now known as Paddy. Meanwhile, after collecting the happy pup, they took him home to add a surprise element to the story.

TikTok user @justfordogs97 recently shared a clip to their account, revealing a sweet rescue dog, named Paddy, being collected and taken to his new fur-ever home. Tissues were already required after viewing scenes of Paddy being collected from the dog rescue center.

It turns out there was a huge surprise waiting at the end of the clip, not only for Paddy but for the whole family.

After Paddy was collected and was being taken home, it turned out there was a sweet surprise, not only for the fur baby but for the whole family.

It turns out the couple’s daughters had no clue that when they arrived home, there would be a new rescue dog waiting for them.

As can be seen, the little girls were overwhelmed by the wonderful surprise that Paddy was joining their family. Naturally, TikTok users were quick to respond to the heartwarming clip. One wrote, “His little face, ‘Am I really gonna [sic] be living here with you,’ such a special moment.”
