A TikToker by the name of Ashley recently made a surprising discovery while out walking her dog, Edi. In video shared on the platform, she is passing an abandoned house on their normal route when she spotted two tiny puppies running in the yard. Initially, Ashley was unsure what to do and she was worried her dog might be upset. However, she soon felt responsible for the abandoned puppies’ wellbeing.

Ashley decided to take Edi home and then got in her car and hurried back to the abandoned house. She was worried about the puppies’ safety while she was away. However, she did know that the house had been vacant for some time, but she knocked on the door and peeked in the windows, just in case someone was there. There was no sign of anyone, or even of the abandoned puppies’ mother. In fact, Ashley believes the puppies were intentionally abandoned at the property.

After Ashley rescued the puppies, she took them home and bathed and fed them. She and Edi have been caring for the little ones ever since. As she had vet appointments scheduled for the pups, she gave them the names Tempura and Panko. Moreover, the kind TikToker will ensure that both pups are in good health and have the necessary jabs.

About the abandoned pups

According to Ashley, Tempura is a mischievous little rascal who loves stealing Edi’s toys. Meanwhile, Panko is a loving and affectionate pup who loves giving kisses. Moreover, both of the pups are quick learners and already understand the concept of going potty outside. They have also learned that sitting earns them treats.

Since rescuing the puppies, Ashley has contacted the local animal shelter, giving them photos of the pups and the location where they were found. So far, no one has come forward to claim the pups and it is unlikely they ever will.

While, admittedly, the addition of two foster puppies has been a little overwhelming for Ashley and Edi, she says they have brought her so much joy. In fact, as each day goes by, it is difficult to imagine giving up Tempura and Panko.

Since rescuing the pups, Ashley has made a number of videos of Tempura and Panko. Readers can follow Ashley on TikTok to keep updated on their heartwarming journey. It certainly serves as a reminder of the impact we can have on the lives of animals in need. It is also a reminder of the impact a loving dog can have on its human.
